BOTANIC GARDENS

Public BBQ

This BBQ spot sits within Hervey Bay's peaceful botanic gardens, offering families a unique dining experience surrounded by manicured landscapes. The location provides convenient access to the gardens' attractions - children can watch countless turtles in the nearby pond while parents prepare lunch. The Chinese garden creates an unexpectedly serene backdrop for outdoor dining. Free parking and entry make it particularly appealing for budget-conscious families. While the gardens themselves steal the show with their orchid house and walking paths, the BBQ facilities benefit from this tranquil setting. Early morning visits offer the most peaceful experience before crowds arrive. The combination of natural beauty and practical amenities creates an unusually scenic spot for a family barbecue.
